BOLLYWOOD screen icon and dance maestro, Hrithik Roshan, has made a spectacular small screen debut, charming both audiences at home, as well as all of the contestants and participants that have been interacting with him on the sets of one of Indian television’s most popular programmes Just Dance.
Hrithik sits on the judging panel alongside industry friends – director/ choreographer Farah Khan and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant.
The show features the best dancers selected from across the globe competing head-to-head for the title of ‘Ultimate Dance Champion’.
After unnerving auditions and undergoing rigorous training, Hrithik, Farah and Vaibhavi have handpicked the contestants collectively. But what sets this dance show apart is that the judges are looking not just for technique, but also for the passion that drives each contestant to dance beyond their expectations.
Contestants do not just get a chance to showcase their talent, but also get the opportunity to be groomed by highly-acclaimed dance experts, as they step closer and closer to the coveted winning title.
Hritik rehearsed his routine for five hours a day, five days straight, to shoot the impressive promotional video for the series. The video, which is choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, and directed by Arjun Sablok sets the standard the contestants hope to match.
