Artist Faiza Saeed is hosting a solo exhibition at the A’ali Shopping Complex. The exhibition runs until Friday and features a range of unique artifacts in mosaic design.
She captures the brilliance of the craft on tables, wall pieces, coffee tables and pots. The exhibition will feature 150 works of art.
Faiza grew up with a passion for art having dabbled in painting and collage-making inspired by her brother, Abdulhameed Saeed, also an artist.
Her love for mosaics was the outcome of visiting museums in Britain, Italy and Spain and Faiza took lessons from well-known British mosaic artist Emma Biggs in London. She is currently working on a wall-installation piece.
