Bahrain’s golfers are ready to tee-off this month at the Royal Golf Club in support of Think Pink Bahrain, the annual breast cancer awareness drive.
Phil Jones, director of golf operations at the club, said: “This is the seventh year that we have supported Think Pink Bahrain in its role of raising awareness of breast cancer in Bahrain.
“Last year’s events raised over BD10,000 and with the help of the local community we aim to improve on that figure this year in aid of this extremely important cause.”
There will be a series of events throughout the month including the Think Pink Gents Charity Golf competition on October 16 and a women’s 18-hole Texas Scramble contest on October 19, with a 9-hole scramble for beginners.
