A friend of the Whisperer has been having loads of problems with pigeons and has tried a variety of techniques to prevent them from nesting around his villa in Saar.
His latest idea was to revert to nature and scare them away with a pretend hawk. His parents sourced one in the UK and kindly brought it out with them on their last visit.
It’s so realistic that when he first put it up he had all the kids on the compound coming around admiring the visitor and telling him how lucky he was to have a hawk and could they come inside to get a closer look.
He only wishes someone had told the pigeons...
