CHRAKHEYAT bounced back from last week’s defeat to secure all three points with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over The 19s in the Bahrain Friendly Football League, hosted by The Football Academy in Saar.
The 19s took the lead early on from a free kick, which was deflected around the box before Faraz Ali tapped the ball into the back of the net.
Chrakheyat were quick to reply, through Mohamed. Early on in the second half Ali Shareef put Chrakheyat ahead with a superb strike from a free kick, bending the ball over the wall and into the top corner.
Another wonder strike followed from The 19s new striker Jalal, who chipped the ball from the halfway line over the keeper.
The game was deadlocked at 2-2 until Ammar Ismael delivered a good finish after a solid spell by Chrakheyat, now placed third in the table with The 19s rooted at the bottom.
Carla’s FC also posted a 3-2 victory after the league’s top scorer Fadel Al A’ali buried the ball in the back of the net in stoppage time against The European Football Academy.
