A NEW monthly event entitled a ‘Taste of Fashion’ is offering women the opportunity to mingle with retailers of leading luxury brands in an intimate café culture atmosphere.
It’s the brainchild of Bahrain City Centre in partnership with its Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel and promises to entertain invited women from across the kingdom with a tasty serving of fashion and tea.
As guests sipped refreshments and enjoyed a muffin or two at the T-Spoon Café, models strolled around the venue displaying the latest trends and offering guests a more up-close and personal look at the brands.
Ray Scott, asset director for Bahrain City Centre, said: “This is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the city, where fashion, style and beauty are presented in an intimate and exclusive setting.
“Taste of Fashion gives ladies the opportunity to experience the mall’s luxurious offers in a more personable way, getting insights into fashion-forward trends presented by the brand and style experts themselves.
“Together with the Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre, ‘Taste of Fashion’ is the city’s newest monthly event to be savoured … fashion and food alike!”
At the inaugural event the lucky ladies were enthralled by Tagz designer leather handbags as well as the latest collections from Longchamp, Red Valentino and Love Moschino.
The event also featured beauty tips and make- up demonstrations shared by the experts and several guests walked away with prizes ranging from a BD100 shopping spree at the mall, a PURE spa treatment and other indulgent delights.
The next ‘Taste of Fashion’ event will take place on March 27 and will feature exquisite designs from Carolina Herrara.
