To celebrate the 50th anniversary of St Christopher’s
School, 40 keen golfers teed off at the Royal Golf Club last weekend.
Each group comprised of teachers, students
and parents with various golfing abilities.
The event was sponsored by HSBC and RGC.
Harry Bullman won the students’ competition
with an incredible 27 points over nine holes. Karen Black, representing the
Junior School, also played superbly to shoot 21 points, to win the staff prize.
In the parents competition Julie Dixon prevailed with 19 points.
The on-course prizes were awarded for
nearest the pin on the 12 hole – Ronan Armstrong, longest drive on the 14th
hole – Sam Hobday, nearest the pin on the 16th hole – Danni Sheppard, longest
putt on the 18th hole – Ken Haggarty.
