Gulf Weekly More flights to and from Trivandrum

Bahrain Air has increased its flight frequency to and from Bahrain and Thiruvananthapuram, known also as Trivandrum, the capital of the Indian state of Kerala, from four to six flights a week.

The introduction of the additional flights will provide convenient and flexible travel choices for the passengers with ‘affordable fare and genuine care’, the company says.

The move will boost the total number of flights connecting India to 20-a-week spread across Cochin, Calicut, Mumbai and Trivandrum.

Flights will depart daily (except Mondays) from Bahrain at 9.25pm and arrive at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport at 4.15am. The return flight will depart daily (except Tuesdays) from Trivandrum at 5am and arrive at Bahrain International Airport at 7.30am.

“This frequency increase follows the encouraging response from passengers which has seen a steady increase in our load factor,” a spokesman said.

“With currently 350,000 Keralites living in Bahrain, the Indian Sub-continent remains a key focus area for the carrier and the additional flight frequency will further strengthen Bahrain Air’s presence in the Indian Sub-continent.”
