The Bahrain Triathlon Challenge supporting local charities will kick off on with a sprint triathlon, which features a 750m swim, a 20km cycling and a 5km run. The event will take place at Amwaj Marina for and is open to people aged 16 and above. Entry costs BD9 per athlete and BD10 per team. A free T-shirt will be given to each participant.

A Try a Tri event will also be staged for those aged 11+, which includes a 300m swim, 10km bike ride and a 3km run. A 5km walkathon will also take place costing BD2 per walker.
