With chances created by both sides, it wasn’t until the third quarter that Arsenal managed to equalise following a powerful turn and finish from striker Reema Al Qassab.
In the final game of the evening, Joga Bonito defeated Eastern Flames 2-0, in a game of few chances.
Striker Kholood Al Ghassra converted a penalty and new midfielder Layla Sayed Hussain scored the other goal.
The Flames unfortunately have had to say farewell to their manager Paul Wyatt who is moving back to England. There was a sad farewell at pitchside as he has certainly been an important element of the team’s development over the last couple of seasons.
Earlier this week the Flames played St Christopher’s Seniors, Arsenal Red went up against their Yellow counterparts and Joga Bonito challenged Venus.
