Bahrain-based British professional golfer Daniel Owen has received a boost by obtaining sponsorship from Behbehani Alfa Romeo Centre in the shape of a shiny new Alfa Romeo Mito to help perfect his driving on the roads as well as the greens!
He is pictured picking up the vehicle from brand manager Sam Yacoub at its Sitra showroom. The stylish Italian cars cost between BD8,500 and BD11,500.
As reported in GulfWeekly, Owen teed-off his professional career in the King Hamad Trophy event in 2011. The 24-year-old, originally from the English county of Surrey, came fourth and earned his first pay cheque of $2,000. The top ranking Middle East Tour professional is currently competing on the 2013 Asian Development and MENA (Middle East and North African) tours.
