Actor Harrison Ford will return as the original space cowboy, Han Solo, in the new installments of the Star Wars franchise.
FOX News Latino columnist Umberto Gonzalez said: “Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars movies. The deal is done. It’s huge.”
Gonzalez claimed he had ‘triple checked’ his ‘legitimate sources’ but could not say whether Ford’s role would be a small cameo or something larger – or even whether he would appear in Star Wars Episode VII, directed by JJ Abrams.
Disney bought the franchise from Lucasfilm last October for more than $4 billion and announced plans for three new films to be set after the original trilogy.
The new movie is being written by Oscar winner Michael Arndt and is set for release in 2015.
