MINI launched its new model, the Paceman, at a ceremony at Bahrain City Centre.

Euro Motors, the marque’s dealer in Bahrain, gave visitors the chance to interact with the latest addition to the Mini family while engaging with pop art and interactive drawing screens.
Entitled ‘Design with Bite’, the activation formed part of a region-wide road show, which included visits to six countries across the Middle East.

Paul Yates, general manager of Euro Motors, said: “Unique, yet typically Mini, the Mini Paceman opens up a new chapter for the brand here in Bahrain. Its innovative combination of sportiness, extrovert design, hallmark Mini driving fun and an exclusive interior ambience will appeal to new target groups and as such, we have no doubt that it will prove highly popular among Mini fans in Bahrain.”

Customers can choose from four powerful engine variants including the Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper S ALL4 and from June, the John Cooper Works will also then be offered. Several exterior and interior customisation options will also be available.

Under the bonnet, the well-known Mini 1.6-litre powertrains are available, each with four cylinders and a zesty power delivery and low fuel consumption and emissions.

All engine variants, which include the Mini Cooper and Cooper S, come with a six-speed automatic gearbox, with an output spread from 122bhp to 184bhp respectively.

Every Mini Paceman is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control, ABS anti-lock brakes, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Cornering Brake Control, Brake Assist and Hill Assist.

Prices start from BD16,500. For details, call Euro Motors on 17750750
