Series – Criminal Minds at 6pm on Star World HD

The Behavioral Analysis Unit consists of an elite team of FBI profilers who analyse the country’s most twisted criminal minds and anticipate their next moves before they can strike again. The team uses the controversial scientific art of profiling to track and apprehend the criminal after coming up with basic characteristics of the perpetrator and the victims matching them to the scene of the crime.


Film – Ice Age: The Meltdown at 7pm on MBC MAX HD

Manny, Sid and Diego may have made it through the big freeze but when the ice begins to melt, the heroic trio must warn the other inhabitants of their peaceful valley of the coming flood. As the ice age comes to an end, the animals have taken warmly to the melting paradise that surrounds them. However, great danger looms just over the horizon with Manny, Sid, and Diego setting out to spread the word and get their endangered friends out of harm’s way.

The show gives viewers a look inside the colourful world of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop on the outskirts of Las Vegas where three generations of the Harrison family – grandfather Richard, son Rick and grandson Corey – jointly run the family business. The reality show features a lot of clashing and camaraderie throughout. Meanwhile, the three men use their sharp eyes and skills to assess the value of items from the commonplace to the truly historic. It’s up to them to determine what’s real and what’s fake. The series also follows the humorous interpersonal conflicts among the cast.


Film – A Thousand Words at 9pm on OSN Movies HD+2

Jack McCall is a fast-talking literary agent who can close any deal no matter what. He has set his sights on New Age guru Dr Sinja for his own selfish purposes, but Dr Sinja is on to him and Jack’s life comes unglued after a magical Bodhi tree mysteriously appears in his backyard. With every word Jack speaks, a leaf falls from the tree and he realises that when the last leaf falls, both he and the tree are done for. Now Jack’s got to stop talking and conjure up outrageous ways to communicate.

In this episode they undertake an incredible road trip in iconic supercars, taking in the US and a race against fighter planes before ending with a hair-raising run to Mexico. The show has become popular due to its irreverent approach to motoring, the humour and the priceless chemistry between the show’s presenters.

Gigantic spacecraft, piloted by an alien species arrive, send communications systems worldwide into chaos. After attempts to communicate with the aliens go nowhere, David Levinson, an ex-scientist, discovers that the aliens are going to attack major points around the globe in less than a day and its up to a small group of survivors to save the day.
