Zayani Motors, the Peugeot distributor in the kingdom, launched its latest model at a sunshine ceremony at Coral Bay.
The Peugeot 301 was unveiled, with a scenic sea view backdrop, in the presence of company officials and members of the press.
Its makers say that the 2013 saloon is specifically-designed to appeal to a wider customer base and has been developed to adapt to all weather and road conditions, such as the hot climate in Bahrain.
Mohammed Zaki, Zayani Motors general manager, said: “The 301 is a family vehicle that is safe and reliable with great driving pleasure. It incorporates modern comfort equipment including electronic air conditioning, MP3 audio system with Bluetooth hands-free kit and USB connection, remote opening of the boot, rear parking assistance and so on, which guarantees an excellent level of features and comfort on board.”
Under the bonnet is a 1.6-litre engine, paired with a spacious interior offering plenty of legroom and a sizable boot.
Designers added that the family-friendly ride provides a wide range of safety features including an electronic stability programme, an automatic brake suspension, four airbags, emergency braking assistance and an ISOFIX which is the international standard for attachment points for child safety seats in passenger cars.
The 301 Access vehicle is priced at BD4,990 with a five-year warranty or a million kilometres. The 301 Active model costs BD5,600 and the 301 Allure is priced at BD5,900. For details, call the showroom in Ma’ameer on 17703703.
