The new E-Class Mercedes-Benz was unveiled at the Al Haddad Motors showroom in Tubli.
The event was attended by owner, Rasool Al Haddad, group general manager Graeme Newport as well as members of the media and guests.
The new E-Class boasts a sharpened design with a sporty look, as well as offering enhanced comfort and efficiency, its makers say.
Mr Newport said: “With the new E-Class we are setting down clear markers in the areas of safety, design and efficiency. It brings lots of technical innovations to the road and is without doubt the best E-Class ever. This is also reflected in its design and lovingly revised interior. As a result it brings a breath of fresh air to the luxury class.”
The front has been completely revised with new headlamps, which comprise all functional elements with a single headlamp lens. In both the saloon and estate models there are 11 new or optimised assistance systems. They combine a host of comfort and safety features including systems which can help to prevent accidents with crossing vehicles or pedestrians, active Lane Keeping Assist and anti-glare continuous high-beam headlamps. There is also a wide range of optional assistance systems.
The range – E 200, E 250, E 300, E 300 4MATIC, E 500 and E 500 4MATIC – is available with three different engine variants; 4-cylynder, V6 and V8.
The new E-Class is available with a variety of individualisation options, currently unique in this class. Irrespective of the chosen equipment line, all appointment options remain available. As such each vehicle can be individually tailored to ensure that it is unique to the driver.
