Al Rashid Group (ARG) has officially opened its first Carpisa store in Bahrain’s Seef Mall.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of Italian ambassador to Bahrain, Alberto Vecchi. Also present at the event were Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, chairperson – ARG, and territory head Vikas Attri, along with other members of the senior management team.

Although its Seef operation is the first for Bahrain, Carpisa operates another 13 stores across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Founded in 2001, Carpisa has built up one of the leading European retail networks in fashion handbags and luggage and is now expanding its wings across the Gulf.
ARG is one of the largest retail operations on the island and is a division of Landmark Retail Ltd who has regional branches alongside those in India, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Kenya. ARG manages four international fashion franchise brands, namely, New Look, Reiss, Koton and Lipsy along with four international footwear brands – Valencia, Dumond, Ecco and Steve Madden.
