The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco is in talks to join Kevin Hart and Josh Gad in the untitled comedy that Jeremy Garelick will direct.
Hart stars as Jimmy, who provides best man services for socially-challenged grooms that have no close friends willing to stand by them on their wedding day.
Gad will play Doug, a groom-to-be who fabricates not just his best man, but his nine groomsmen as well. Together they must carry out a charade that is designed to make Doug look his best but threatens to destroy everything if it fails.
Cuoco is making a deal to play Gad’s self-centred fiancee who cares more about having the perfect wedding than whether he is actually happy or not.
Cuoco, who plays Penny on the hit CBS series The Big Bang Theory, recently wrapped the indie comedy Authors Anonymous, which she also executive produced. She starred alongside James Marsden in Universal’s Hop and co-starred in Matt Oates’ little-seen indie gem Wasted with Kip Pardue, Eddie Kaye Thomas and Josh Cooke.
