GULFWEEKLY’S film reviewer May Al Mousawi came a cropper when she carried out an impromptu ballet twirl in front of her bewildered family.
Instead of flying through the air she ended up in a pile on the floor … and broke both her legs!
“You should see my plie, it’s amazing!” she heartily told The Whisperer before reconsidering attempting to perform the ballet movement in which the knees are bent while the back is held straight.
The poor scribe has been rolling around in a wheelchair and finally got to use her set of crutches at the weekend as she hobbled to the nearest cinema.
