Starting Thursday and running until May 2, Bahrain Urban Culture Week is a unique programme aimed at helping individuals and groups further develop their interest and skills in hip hop culture.
Professionals visiting the island on behalf of Red Bull, along with local artists, will conduct free workshops including a two-day B-Boy training camp, how to start a career in music in Bahrain, event production, BreakBeat DJ-ing, urban photography and more.

The Amwaj Marina Obstacle Challenge charity event will be held on May 30 at Amwaj Marina.
Participants will carry a 20kg weight over 70m in a 1m depth in the sea, crawl through mud, climb up and down inclined walls 5m’s high and through uneven terrain making up the 4km grueling obstacle course.

The Bahrain International Exhibition Centre in Sanabis will host the GulfBID 2014 Expo to celebrate the Bahrain Construction Sector from May 6 to May 8, 9am to 9pm.
A variety of participants will showcase their top-selling products in Hall 1 for the marquee show for construction and building materials in the Northern Gulf.
The Expo will provide a unique one-stop-shop for the construction, real estate and interior sectors. With a 60 per cent increase in size over last year, the expo will be covering more than 9,000sq/m of floor space. The show allows visitors to buy a property, look at renovations and the possibilities of interior décor all at one venue.
