HAPPY birthday to Adam Jones, the 15-year-old schoolboy who should be enjoying a party with his pals at St Christopher’s School instead of languishing in Qatar caught up in a long-running custody wrangle involving his desperate British mum and her late-husband’s family.
The new Emir has promised British Prime Minister David Cameron that he will ensure Adam’s own opinion is heard now he is 15 and has the legal right to choose where he wishes to stay. Hopefully this will happen sooner, rather than later, and the teenager will be packing his bags for a welcome return to Bahrain.
