Ronan Armstrong narrowly won the May competition of the Euro Motors BMW Monthly Medal Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 70, leaving Todd Gillespie to settle for second place with 71 nett. Play was also tight in the second division of the popular members’ series with Mick Greig winning with 71 nett on countback and Waleed Al Alawi taking the runners-up spot, also on 71. In division three Ahmed Sahib won first place with nett 68 and Sam Jong Kim was close behind on nett 69. Valerie Lim took the ladies’ title with a nett score of 75. All seven players will progress on to the Euro Motors BMW Grand Final which will take place at the Royal Golf Club in December.
