Bahraini Hamad Mubarak, pictured below, clinched the August competition of the Euro Motors BMW Monthly Medal Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 70 winning on countback from David Wales, who took the runners-up spot.
A countback was also needed to separate the top two in the second division of the popular members’ series with Robert Addison taking top spot and Naeem Ullah Khan coming second after both achieved nett scores of 75.
In division three Jung Kyung Yoon won first place with a nett 73 as well as achieving the best ladies nett score. Sam Jong Kim was runner-up with 75 nett. All six players will progress to the Euro Motors BMW Grand Final which will take place at the club in December.
