Broadband available in Amwaj

Batelco has launched its Home Broadband services for customers living on Amwaj Islands. The new service was officially launched at a special event, which took place in a villa specially set up for the demonstration.

The event was attended by Batelco management, staff members, invited guests and residents who wandered in after catching sight of the villa, clearly visible from the Batelco branding.

The villa, located on Road 5718, will be open daily from 12pm to 6pm until Saturday. Customers are invited to visit to see live demonstrations of Batelco’s services and try them out for themselves.

Amwaj resident Adriana Dandello, 33, was thrilled with the event and was keen  to sign up for high-speed connection. She said: “Most of the time I surf the web on my smartphone but this has made me rethink that and I can’t wait to be able to have faster download speeds, because it can take a long time to complete fairly simple tasks.”

Batelco also has a stand located at Alosra Supermarket at the entrance to Amwaj Islands.

Thanks to the high speeds delivered by Batelco, customers will be able to enjoy downloading movies, stream high definition videos, play online games and upload large files in seconds without experiencing any delays, the company says.

Batelco offers Broadband choices to satisfy all needs with three package options for its Amwaj customers, with prices starting from BD15.

There is a special offer for the first 100 customers to sign up for Batelco Broadband in Amwaj. Also customers living there will receive  customer services and support, available around the clock.

There are also value added services such as Batelco Play and benefits such as extra usage bundles and device installment offers to purchase high value computers, tablets, game consoles and more.
