The Whisperer’s friend has a fascination with fish but it scaled new heights when he went in search of a vet who could help his beloved gilled pal who was off his food and appeared to be developing blisters on his head. Apparently few vets on the island specialise in fish and he was sent to Fish World to seek advice.
The fish apparently was in a state of aquatic agony as the result of a sore throat because the chlorine in tap water can sometimes cause these symptoms. Using a sprinkle of antibiotic powder aimed at ailing farmyard animals, his fish turned the corner and is back in good health. As for head blisters … nothing to worry about, the fish is simply growing another horn. Don’t ask …
