Jaguar and Land Rover have raced to success in an internationally-acclaimed study based on car owner evaluations.
According to the J.D. Power 2014 US Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study Jaguar was ranked second and Land Rover was ranked fourth.
The study examines how gratifying a new vehicle is to own and drive, based on owner evaluations. Now in its 19th year it serves as the industry benchmark for new-vehicle appeal. Owners evaluated their vehicles across 77 attributes, which combine into an overall score that is measured on a 1,000-point scale.
The 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport was ranked 1st in three categories, namely; the luxury mid-sized SUVs range, the luxury SUVs with three rows and also in off-road SUVs. Meanhwile the 2014 Jaguar XF was ranked 6th in the Luxury Large Cars Awards.
