Husband and wife Stan and Hilde Kwik narrowly won the opening competition of the new VIVA Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a total of 25 points, putting them at the top of the series leader board.
Alan Vandewater and playing partner Andrew Wyman were runners up with 24 points while Abdulaziz Ahmed and Sam Jong Kim clinched third place with 23 points.
The competition was played on the back 9 floodlit holes of the club’s Montgomerie championship course in the Better Ball Stableford Rainbow Challenge format.
Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by David Wales and Rob Lane respectively.
