2014 is almost over, and the festive season is upon us. I always find December is a month of reflection for what has been achieved and what has been done during the past year. I, of course, love the festive season and all its good cheer and goodwill.
Reflection is a good thing to do; it helps us realise just what we can do and how we can change things that need to be changed.
2014 for me has been a very busy year and the launch of my book was a humbling yet wonderful experience. It took me out of my comfort zone and into a whole new beginning and many speaking engagements. The first launch was in Bahrain and was truly wonderful, held at the fabulous Domain Hotel in Bahrain.
As the year closes maybe it is a good thing for all of us to reflect on what we have and how blessed we are. There is so much suffering, anger and violence in the world and, as we cannot change the world in general, we can change our own lives. We can bring peace to our own personal part of the world, if we start within our self and our immediate surroundings, then that can trickle out to others. This is the way we can change the world.
I also find it a good thing at this time of the year to finish any projects and commitments you may have made with yourself and others. It is a great incentive to start the New Year afresh. Then let go and discard the ones that you never had any intention of doing or are simply not possible to finish. You can start new plans in the New Year.
May you all be blessed this coming Christmas and festive season. May 2015 bring you all love, happiness, health and prosperity and may all your wishes come true.
