Husband and wife Rob and Debbie Lane won the penultimate VIVA Monday Madness Night Golf competition at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 33, catapulting them into third place in the overall series order of merit.
Graeme Newport and playing partner Todd Gillespie clinched second place with a score of 33.5 nett while Abdulaziz Ahmed and Abdulrahman Al Amar came third with 33.75 nett.
With only one week of the current series left, just five points separate the top six pairings. The duo of Alan Vandewater and Andrew Wyman sit at the top of the leaderboard with 9 points.
The latest competition was played on the back 9 floodlit holes of the Montgomerie championship course in the two-player scramble format. Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Wyman and Gillespie respectively.
