Husband and wife Rob and Debbie Lane won the fourth competition in the six-week Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 31, propelling them to the top of the series leaderboard.
Father and son Naveed and Taimur Malik were runners-up in the Shambles format competition with 33 nett while Haitham Haji and playing partner Khalid Jassim clinched third place with 34 nett. Naveed Malik and Khalid Jassim won additional prizes for coming nearest to the pin on holes 12 and 16 respectively.
A prize presentation ceremony was held in the Members’ Lounge where Sohail Singh, the club’s tournament co-ordinator, presented the prizes.
Results: 1st Rob & Debbie Lane (31 nett), 2nd Naveed & Taimur Malik (33), 3rd Haitham Haji & Khalid Jassim (34), 4th Mohamed Akeel & Iftikhar Butt (35 c/b), 5th Dave Fernie & Adam Wells (35 c/b). Nearest the pins: Naveed Malik (hole 12) & Khaled Jassim (hole 16).
