Dongbu Daewoo Electronics Middle East has launched its new range of washing machines, refrigerators and air conditioners in Bahrain in partnership with the Awadhi Group of Companies.
The newly-designed spacious fridges come with a smart cooling system. They include a special compartment called ‘Farmer Case Plus’ for storing fresh fruits and vegetables. They also come fitted with long-lasting crystal LED lighting which, designers say, is brighter and more efficient.
“We are focused on constantly developing products that are technologically-advanced with a premium design in home appliance industry, and we have patented technology to prove it,” said YD Kim, managing director of Dongbu Daewoo Electronics Middle East.
Ik Jun Choi, sales director of Daewoo, revealed that the new models were fitted with four large pockets on the door making it easy to store big bottles of milk,water and soft drinks. The tempered glass shelves are said to be stronger, more durable and less prone to cracking and breaking than regular glass, allowing the support of heavy items up to 100kg.
Ebrahim Al Awadhi said Daewoo has been the group’s flagship brand for 30-plus years and Rakesh Shrivastava, group general manager of Awadhi, said new plans included setting up a fully-fledged regional service and spare parts centre for the brand.
