Dear Stan,I would like to thank you for every thing you have done. I have just seen Anasuya Kesavan's article on our family motorcycle business and it was really outstanding. It will always be remembered and will be a part of Biker's Alley's folklore!

Dear Stan,

With reference to your recent coverage of The Thirst Quenchers. Firstly, I would like to thank you your continuous support. Your media coverage has been so instrumental in getting more people on board.

I truly believe in the power of the youth. The driving power and energy that they have is amazing! They are capable of making extraordinary things happen.

I have witnessed it with The Thirst Quenchers and continue to witness it. They are an amazing group.

Dear Stan,

With reference to Archie Brand on the mat in last week's Letters to the Editor.

Funny how golf changes some people. AB on the mat is pithy, witty, to the point, most unlike the AB we know so regularly along with his pseudonyms on the GDN letters page.

I am surprised Archie didn't pick Mike Braidwood up on his quote about the old Riffa Golf Club being considered as playing 'artisan' golf.

I come from a UK county which still has a thriving Artisan Golf Club. The Golf Artisan was originally a person who did work on the Golf Course and as a concession after work was permitted to play golf on that course only at restricted tee off times.

Although a frequent visiting player to the old Riffa Golf Club I never realised that I was playing amongst artisans. This shows just how many people change when they play golf!
