Beacon of Light, Hidd, is holding an ‘Emotional Intelligence through Drama Workshop’ for children aged six to 16. The camp will start on Sunday and run from 11am-2.30pm until July 15. Children attending the summer camp will participate in ‘Engaged Learning Activities’ which include mastering new vocabulary through interactive role-play as well as being taught how to develop their language and emotional skills, how to deal with frustration and how to deal with a lack of focus. They will also attend a field trip to the Bahrain Meditation Centre, Um Al Hassam. The grand finale will be a performance to the parents and the public held on the last day of summer camp after Iftar.

Junaid Perfumes has launched its second online photography competition urging customers to upload a single picture of their favourite Junaid Perfumes product or product range under the hashtag ‘#JunaidMoments’ on Facebook and Instagram. Entries can be uploaded until July 12 and prize winners will be decided based on the number of ‘likes’ and responses to their entries.
