PHOTOGRAPHER Phil Weymouth has set out on a mission to document life in Bahrain capturing the essence of the kingdom and the local people and expats who live and work here in a stunning series of images.
He has launched a Bahrain Life website along with social media pages and accounts to share his work which he hopes will become a unique historical pictorial reference for generations to come.
Australian Phil, 53, pictured right, who lives in Budaiya, with his wife, Nikki, and their daughter, Ella, settled here a decade ago, and said: “Bahrain is home for me. It has my family, friends and its people. It is what you make of it. I love just walking or riding on my pushbike taking photographs.
“Bahrain Life really started because I was walking in the morning and wanted something to do. Then I just started taking photos of the people I came in contact with on my day-to-day travels.”
