I am pleased to announce that the fundraiser held at Ali Baba Restaurant in The Lagoon, Amwaj Islands, raised a very respectable BD770 for Tony the Dogfather.
Many thanks to all of you for the very generous donations – which I have mentioned in various Facebook posts – and especially to Ali Al Sawad for throwing open the doors to his restaurant for us all to sample the great food his chefs prepare.

I know these couple of days the weather was quite challenging. But we like challenges, don’t we? Let’s use the heat and lose some weight. Remember, during a two-hour round of FootGolf on Sunday evening at the Royal Golf Club walking players take more than 6,000 steps over 5.5km and burn up to 1,000 calories. And it is still great fun!
