BAHRAIN Air will be receiving its fifth new aircraft on Friday amid signs that the aviation business is again starting to soar.

It will also begin operating two flights a week to Egypt's Sharm El Sheikh Airport from September 15.

Ibrahim Abdulla Alhamer, Bahrain Air's managing director, said: "We have a great confidence that the situation in our beloved Bahrain will return to normal or even better with the help of God Almighty very soon."

The airline is also launching a frequent flyer programme.
