Call it Spring, Apparel Group’s popular Canadian footwear and accessories brand, recently upgraded its City Centre Bahrain location with a fresh urban street store style that tells a story of its own.
Check out the relaxed ambience, ample seating and brightly lit displays showcasing all its new offerings. A huge LCD screen rotates the latest season’s look to give shoppers ample inspiration, an orange wire moose sits on the wall giving a subtle ‘Canadiana’ vibe and photos of models chillin’ in the city were scattered throughout the store.
A gorgeous tree and light display also hovers over the checkout counter which I later found out was the main focus of a ‘love story’ concept told by this brand. Couples are invited to shop together as the women can find their items on the left and the men on the right which leads to them meeting up at the end under the soft glowing tree. The love birds are ‘reunited’ to purchase their fashion finds.
The tree design is the main attraction and is absolutely breathtaking. It was created by using a large white sculpture as the tree base and soft bobble lights hang from the ceiling as the leaves.
So gents, there will be no excuses to stay at home while your lady shops. Half of this store is designed just for you and surely she would appreciate your compliments on her style choices. After all, that is what women really want anyway, in my opinion, a man to notice her and take her shopping! It doesn’t hurt that the price point is good for the quality and some of the autumn stock has already arrived.
A modern vintage trend is present in the men’s section with two-toned trainers that make any urban outfit cool – leather trainers in brown and navy for BD26.900 and sleek lace-up dress shoes, at various prices, are both classy and stylish.
For the ladies there are ‘pumped up kicks’ in cool contrasts of glitter and metallics and coveted high top heels for BD26.900 in gorgeous autumn shades of Bordeaux and camel brown.
The ankle boots in faux suede that will go with any outfit this season. They also came in light brown and light beige shade. Lovely flats, high heels and loafers can be found in various textures, prints, accents and palettes. J’adore, a new collection and all its accessories, can be used to mix and match to complete any outfit.
