Bee pollen

Bee pollen is something very precious that is often discarded by bee-keepers in Bahrain. But the more I get the happier I become.

Bees casually collect pollen from flowers. It sticks to their bodies and then they collect it all with their legs to feed it to their young ones once they’re back in the hive.

Bee-keepers, therefore, put pollen traps at the entrance of the hive in order to catch whatever falls from the bees’ legs in the form of bee pollen pellets.

Bee pollen is a superior form of protein which works amazingly well for humans. A lot of athletes take it because it’s an ideal form of plant-based protein, great for physical achievement and recovery.

But it’s also beneficial for everyday use as it gives energy, speeds the healing of wounds, and also adds vibrance to hair and skin. Look it up and search for it in your area, it’s one of nature’s best superfoods. Always best collected and consumed locally.
