Motorcity parts department received a delegation from Hyundai Heavy Industries together with their GCC regional distributors at the recently-opened central parts distribution centre in Ma’ameer.
The purpose was to tour the modern facility with a discussion on the implementation and processes of best practice offered at the centre.
The guests were welcomed by Dr Bijan Majidi, senior general manager of Motorcity, followed by a presentation about the facility by Brett Mommsen, general manager – after sales, followed by a tour of the facility accompanied by Agnelo Fernandes, parts manager.
Mr Mommsen said: “It is another proud moment for Motorcity Parts Centre as recognised by Hyundai Heavy Industries to be the benchmark for its dealer parts operations within the GCC region.”
The new spare parts distribution centre provides parts for over 16 franchises under one roof. The total area of this facility is over 6000 square metres and can accommodate more than 75,000 line items.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their admiration of the quality services offered at the central parts distribution centre.
