On the tee

Two key features of professional golfers that drive the ball well are that they tee the ball at a consistent height to suit their swing every time, and that they always keep their head behind the ball at set-up, in the backswing and into impact.

A great tip is to draw a line on your ball with a marker pen and when teeing up make sure the line is on the opposite side of your target and clearly visible above the top of the driver head.

The line also gives a player something to focus on through the swing ensuring the head stays back, thus allowing the club to sweep the ball away on the upswing through impact.
