The organising committee of ‘Shop Bahrain’ has called upon entrepreneurs and owners of SMEs to join the ‘VIVA Shop & Skate’ market as they extended the dates.
“In response to the popularity of the event, we have decided to open the market on weekdays as well. The original plan was to host the market only on the weekends. However, we have noticed an outpour of people flocking in on weekdays so we made the decision to keep the market open throughout the festival,” said Shop Bahrain project director Nawaf Al Koheji.
“The main aim of ‘VIVA Shop & Skate’ is to provide the entire family with a unique fun-filled experience where they can enjoy skating and shopping in the open air,” and added that, “It provides the perfect opportunity for entrepreneurs and businesses to showcase their products. The registration process is made easy for vendors who are interested in registering their businesses in the market as they can fill in the form which is available on ‘Shop Bahrain’ official website.”
‘VIVA Shop & Skate’ is the largest outdoor ice skating rink in the region. The activity is located in Al A’ali Shopping Complex and is open daily until January 23. The venue is open on weekdays from 4pm to 10pm and from 4pm to midnight on weekends.
‘Shop Bahrain’ is a 30-day celebration of Bahrain’s heritage, hospitality and tourism running until January 23. It aims to mirror the kingdom’s position as an accessible and welcoming destination for families and visitors from across the region by providing a distinctive shopping experience filled with special offers and entertainment.
