Today (March 16)
Al Riwaq Art Space is featuring a group exhibition titled ‘Identity Borders’ until April 5 showcasing new and emerging artists. The gallery is open from 10am-10pm daily.

‘Views’, an exhibition featuring the work of more than 50 local and international artists, including renowned British artist Damien Hirst, is open today from 4pm-9pm at the Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa.

The Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival is being held until Saturday at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Mickey and Minnie Mouse will join Donald and Goofy, along with 25 of the world’s favourite characters, in what promises to be a fun-filled live theatre experience.

Tomorrow (March 17)
The Bahrain Irish Society is hosting its flagship event, the St Patrick’s Day Ball, from 7.30pm at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa. Tickets are BD55 with limited availability.

The event will feature a reception and a banquet of Irish and international cuisine. There will also be entertainment from Irish bands The Leftovers and The Harleys, while Irish dance troupe Celtic Soul have been flown in from Ireland to perform.

The Bahrain Bay Kitchen restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is now hosting a Fisherman’s Night every Thursday from 7pm. It features an extensive seafood buffet from which guests can choose their own catch, as well as sushi and nigiri stations.

Friday (March 18)
Parents of children at St Christopher’s School are hosting a ‘Motor Show’ charity event in the Saar campus car park from 3pm-6pm in order to raise money for a local children’s charity association.

The Bahrain Rugby Football Club in Janabiya is hosting a ‘Paddy’s Picnic’ event from 1.30pm to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. The event will feature a children’s St Patrick’s Parade, a bouncy castle, rodeo bull, face painting, arts and crafts, and more.

The Royal Golf Club’s family-friendly Friday Brunch at Prego runs from noon to 3pm and is designed for children costing BD6.500. Parents are welcome to order from the restaurant’s a la carte menu. Call 17751263 to book a table.

The British Club will be hosting its next children’s theatre workshop from 3pm-5.30pm in the Windsor Room. The theme this month is improvisation and it is open to all children aged seven and over.

Entry is BD3 for members and BD5 for non-members. There are limited spaces, so all children must be registered by noon on Friday.

Monday (March 21)
The Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay has launched its Fiesta Mexicana evenings every Monday at its Bahrain Bay Kitchen outlet from 7pm-11pm. It features a selection of traditional Mexican cuisine and beverages accompanied by music.

The French Embassy is hosting a gastronomic event which will be attended by 60 invited guests. The theme is ‘art de vivre à la française’ and will feature an extravagant buffet and spread.
