Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) has called upon the public to take part in the largest mosaic in the Gulf region by sending across images relating to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
A dedicated website, www.bahrainmosaic.com/mosaic.php has been developed that allows the public to upload images and be a part of one of the largest national events.
The mosaic will be unveiled during the first week of December to coincide with Bahrain National Day celebrations and is also being held as a part of the Manama Capital of Gulf Tourism 2016 initiative organised by the authority.
Commenting on the initiative; Director of Marketing and Tourism Promotion at the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Mr. Yousef Mohamed AlKhan said: “Photography is considered as one of the most popular mediums available to people of all ages.
“This interactive initiative will help showcase the kingdom’s touristic attractions to a wider audience, therefore, we urge all talented photographers and enthusiasts to participate by submitting their unique shots that express their love towards the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
Images will be accepted up until the last week of November.
