American pop star Dev is set to headline the off-track Action-Ha entertainment programme, taking place as part of the Bahrain Motorsport Festival at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir this weekend.
The three artists who will be performing live on each night of the mega event. Action-Ha will be the entertainment part of the festival, and it will be taking place in Bahrain for the very first time.
The other two performers are globally renowned Algerian superstar Khaled and Moroccan singer-songwriter Hatim Ammor.
Kicking off the live shows will be Ammor on the Thursday night of the race weekend.
Dev will follow on Friday and Khaled will be on Saturday. Dev is a popular singer, songwriter, rapper and radio host. She is well known for her hit songs Bass Down Low, Booty Bounce and In the Dark, to name a few. She has collaborated with many well-known artists such as Enrique Iglesias, Far East Movement, Fabolous and Sage The Gemini, among others.
Khaled, formerly known as Cheb Khaled, is widely regarded as the most internationally famous Algerian singer in the Arab world and beyond. His biggest hits are Didi, Aicha and C’est la vie. Khaled has won many awards throughout his long and celebrated career. He has also collaborated on songs with other artists such as U2, and his records have also been used in movie soundtracks.
Ammor is a well beloved musician, as well as an actor, in his native Morocco. Two of his most popular songs are Ammor Ya Khadija and Hsebni Temaa.
Aside from the three concerts, there will also be plenty of family entertainment as part of Action-Ha at the Bahrain Motorsport Festival, including a series of motoring and children’s shows.
A moto international stunt show will be enthralling fans as well as a series of car stunts, motorcycle displays, fire stunts and much more. Meanwhile, the children’s attractions include a variety show featuring A Pirate Adventure, The Wonderful West End and Jack & The Beanstalk.
There will also be a Ministry of Science show, which will take the audience on a journey through the different types of energy using demonstrations and historical references as the narrative.
Combining the world of education with live experiments and the history of engineering, the interactive show aims is to focus, inspire and educate through the medium of live theatre.
