Bahrain Cinema Company recently signed an agreement with Al Rashid Group (ARG) to open a brand new cineplex in Oasis Mall Juffair which promises to tantalise the senses of movie-goers.
The agreement was signed by Ahmed Rashed, the chief executive officer of Bahrain Cinema Company and Vikas Attri, the chief operating officer of Al Rashid Group (ARG), the mall’s proprietors. The cineplex will be approximately 3,000sq/m and boast 12 screens.
It will feature a children’s cinema as well as the latest state-of-the-art technology such as a Dolby Atmos system and 4DX theatres, featuring high-tech motion seats and special effects such as wind, fog, rain and scents in both 2D and 3D formats.
Mr Rashed said: “We are indeed thrilled to open our new cineplex within the lively vicinity of Juffair as it is a very popular location for both locals and expatriates and it does not have any movie theatres.”
Cineco, establishment in the kingdom in 1968, currently owns and operates 49 cinema screens in Bahrain and 47 screens in Qatar.
