The mixed martial arts (MMA) Brave series will return for a second session in Bahrain on December 2 and there are hopes it will feature a world title fight.
The organisers have not revealed who will be on the bill yet but want to build on the excitement generated by the first show at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town.
Brave Combat Federation (CF) CEO Mohammed Shahid said: "There was a lot of work put in by KHK MMA and the Brave CF team worldwide and the result showed," said Shahid. "Our next event will be in December. We will have some bigger names fighting and we might even think of dropping in our first title fight.
"We will close the year for Brave CF in great fashion and as for 2017… that will be a huge year."
The reaction to Brave 1 held on September 23, which witnessed two of Bahrain’s MMA prospects - Hamza Kooheji and Mohammed Atif - both win their fights in front of a large, vocal crowd, delighted organisers and supporters of the sport, including members of the Bahrain Royal Family.
"The event was a huge success with a full house and the international reviews were great too," Shahid added. "We had some amazing fights and some upsets. I was happy to see the excitement generated by the crowd and the sportsmanship shown by all the fighters."
