Celebrations for the fourth edition of French Week, entitled ‘So French’, will start on January 18 to 23 with a concert and seminars lined up throughout. French Ambassador Bernard Regnauld-Fabre recently announced some of the events to dignitaries, invited guests and members of the media at a conference held in his home.
On January 20, singer and song-writer Yasmine Hamadan will perform at the Cultural Hall and there will also be an Imagine France photographic exhibition taking place at the Bahrain Financial Harbour.
A seminar dedicated to the development of digital innovation and quality of life will be held on January 22 at the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. There will also be a seminar dedicated to French education held at the hotel the following day aimed at promoting and explaining the opportunities and benefits the European country has to offer.
A full events calendar will be announced in the coming weeks with a growing number of events and promotions taking place across the kingdom. A delegation team including senators, businessmen and tourism representatives as well as a head chef from a three Michelin Star restaurant from the Alsace region in France will be visiting during the week.
That part of France is known for its world-renowned craftsmen, gastronomy and historical and cultural sites.
