Jewellery retailer Malabar Gold &Diamonds is extending its presence in Bahrain by opening a new showroom in Lulu Hypermarket at Hidd … with a sparkling star-spangled event tonight.
The grand opening will be taking place this evening at 7pm. The new showroom is located on the shopping complex’s first floor and will be inaugurated by Bollywood star Anil Kapoor, pictured right.
In addition to this outlet, the company is also opening a new Malabar Gold & Diamonds showroom at Temple Road and a MGD-Lifestyle jewellery outlet at Manama’s Gold City, which the company says will be a ‘first of its kind’ in Bahrain.
As part of the celebrations, there will bea ‘gold coin’ promotion with gold and diamond purchases of BD250, as well as other offers until Saturday.
Anil, an award-winning Indian actor and producer, has appeared in many Bollywood movies, as well as international films and TV series. He got his first International role in the Academy Award-winning Slumdog Millionaire in 2008 and his performance in the eighth season of the action TV series 24 received rave reviews.
In 2011, he appeared in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.
