THE LAMDA Programme, Bahrain School of Speech and Dramatic Arts production of The Gingerbread Man will be staged today and tomorrow at Bahrain Fort Site Museum as part of the Bahrain Spring of Culture.

This English language retelling of the children’s classic is full of fast-paced excitement, continuous action, physical theatre, movement, choreography, dance and song. The show is suitable for children aged three to 12, but promises fun for the whole family. The show is unticketed, so arrive early to secure a good spot. Additional tour dates will be announced next week.

Award-winning singer and songwriter Sandi Thom will headline a St Patrick’s Day event at the Bahrain Rugby Football Club in Janabiya.

 

The Bahrain Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA) is hosting a St Patrick’s Day Dog Walk at the BSPCA Animal Welfare Centre in Askar from 10.30am.

There are two categories, a 2km walk for young children and a 4km walk for others.
