Longer drives, means shorter approaches making putts for birdies more likely and, in turn, better scores. Most amateur players struggle to get the correct angle of attack with the driver with most hitting down on the ball which creates more backspin - higher drives but shorter distance. 1) Place a towel a grip distance in front of your ball when it’s on the tee.
2) As you swing through the ball avoid making contact with the towel, this will give you a positive angle of attack rather than a negative.
